CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development

There are a number of websites that offer opportunities to obtain CPD credits in various categories.

One of the best is the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation (US  based) which has excellent articles in its newsletters. View a list of highly recommended articles.

A series of M and M Questions have been compiled on this website. (AnaesthesiaCases plans to publish sample answers in the near future).

The ASA  "IAmOnline" modules are also good value. There are currently modules on Bariatric Anaesthesia, Ischaemic Heart Disease, Obstetrics and Perioperative Pain Management. You need to be an ASA (Australian Society of Anaesthetists) member (and have your membership no.) to access them.

The Update in Anaesthesia website has many excellent articles.

AnaesthesiaCases has introduced Podcasts.

Clinically relevent MCQ Self Assessment Tests are available on the Update in Anaesthesia website.
