Summary:

This review article is a great summary of the important anaesthetic issues during an emergency LUCS. In particular it gives practical advice regarding appropriate in utero fetal resuscitation, options for anaesthesia including regional and general anaesthesia. It also briefly discusses the management of parturients with complications such as pre-eclampsia and abnormal placenta positions.
