Summary:

Pre-eclampsia occurs in 2-3% of all pregnancies and causes increased morbidity and mortality in both the mother and fetus. Pre-eclampsia is a multisystem disorder that requires a multidisciplinary approach which focuses on controlling maternal BP, preventing and managing maternal complications and facilitating the safe delivery of the fetus.
