Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Review

 

Summary:

Obstructive sleep apnoea is a increasing problem in an ageing population with increasing incidence of obesity. Appropriate perioperative diagnosis and management  can reduce adverse outcomes in these patients. The ASA Taskforce provides pre, intra and post operative recommendations for the management of patients with mild, moderate and severe sleep apnoea.
