Good Sites

Click on the links to these recommended anaesthesia websites.

DevelopingAnaesthesia also has excellent cases articles and presentations and a textbook.

This Peterborough (UK) site is good for a few laughs and has some worthwhile material as well. It has been put together by an ODP, John Ellington.

The Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation has very good articles in its newsletters.

James Shorthouse’s Blogspot!! This is great reading: the keeping of a diary in the approach to the final FRCA exam. Good for the final exam candidate but also for the consultant browsing on a range of clinical topics.

The Australian Resuscitation Guidelines were revised in 2006.

The New Zealand Government Medsafe website is helpful as a quick reference for drug queries. No password is required.

The AAGBI has a set of guidelines for managing Morbidly Obese Patients

The AAGBI also has guidelines on managing LA Toxicity including Intralipid Use
